Last night I was going to upload some new pictures... I went to put my memory card from my camera into the downloader and it could not find the drive I usually store (ALL) of my pictures on... It said the external hard drive could not be recognized. Odd... I've been using it for just about a year now with NO problems. Could not find it. Windows would not recognize it. My stomach aches. My head aches. My heart aches. 19 months worth of Laura pictures. Gone. Do I have a back up? No, I guess that was me being naive thinking it wouldn't happen to me. But it did. They're gone. I've called tech support for the hard drive and they weren't really any help. Can I say it again? I literally feel sick.
I have an email into a data recovery company and I can only hope and pray they can retreive the data. Yes, I'll be paying a hefty price, but for baby pictures - no price is too much to pay...

Oh. Oh no. That would make me sick too. I very much hope that they are able to recover them. I'm so sorry.
Oh no! I can't even imagine! I upload almost every picture onto Snapfish to share with family and I always feel better knowing that they're saved there as well. I hope you're able to retrieve them!
