Laura had her 2 year well visit today.
Saw Dr. S again. We love that guy! :) So friendly and nice!
Laura weighed in at 28pounds and a few ounces and is 35 inches tall. Still on the same growth curve she's been on all along, no spikes or dips.
She was really good at the appointment, but got 5 jabs ... first the finger prick for a CBC and lead level... then HIB and Meningitis vax, and then 2 shots of the flu mist - one for each nostril. She was not a happy camper. And they didn't even have any stickers out today :( (Or at least I didn't see them!)
Her CBC showed that her hematocrit and red blood cell levels are the very low end of normal. Not low enough to start a supplement, but low enough we need to concentrate on high iron foods ... I'll have to get a list together. Maybe I'll hit Kris up for a copy of the spinach brownies recipe...
Other than that, clean bill of health and they'll see her back in one year for a 3 year well visit. I can only hope there are no sick visits in between.
