According to them ... I'm 37w5d today. According to my calculations... I'm 38w3d today. Know what I was doing at 38w3d last time? I was holding my sweet new baby in my arms after a 12 hour labor and delivery! This time... not so much.
I just got done with my appointment today. I like having 8am appointments - practically no wait time! I was in at 7:55am and out by 8:07am. Yeah, not much to do other than say everything is going fine and this baby is not coming out anytime really soon.
Weight: 186. Gained 1 pound this past week. Total gain: 52# Kind of strange how at this point last time I'd also gained 52#... but stopped at that weight since I delivered.... this time, I'll be going over what I gained last time.
Baby's heartrate: Well within normal, but I didn't get the rate.
My BP: 126/68 <--- NOTHING like last time I was pregnant :)
My baby belly is measuring 37 weeks. She said that he still has plenty of room to move around and jiggle. He has also NOT dropped down into my pelvis yet - she pointed out to me how to feel for his head - and he's still happily up high. Everyone has been telling me "I've dropped" and no matter how much I tell them, "no, I've been this low the whole time" they don't believe me. This baby still has to drop A LOT more before we'll get to meet him.
My group B strep test was negative. That makes me really happy because it means I do not need to get IV antibiotics during labor. That means I have a good shot at going this thing with no meds at all again :)
Oh, and Marie doesn't think this baby is going to be anywhere as big as Laura was based on how he felt today - but who knows... we'll see when we meet him... in another couple weeks.

I'm glad your appointment went well. Not much longer for you.
Can't wait to meet him! I can't say much about dates, only 1 day early with Colin and 1 week over with Hank
Do you have his name picked out yet? I can't wait to hear it and see pictures of that little guy!
