Tried to sleep in bed tonight... took a nap yesterday afternoon in it and it felt great. ... no so much overnight. I had to keep my head propped up and even then, my head got so congested. I can't tell if it's pregnancy congestion - or if combined with the sore throat I now have if I'm getting the gunk that's being passed around.
Up at 1:30 to pee and eat a banana.
Awake until 2:30 staring at the ceiling.
Awake at 3:30 because Laura called out "daddy.... daddy..." in her sleep. Enough to wake me up, but not have to get up.
Awake at 4:35 because Laura called out "daddy DADDY" enough to get me out of bed - she'd scootched down in her bed and was totally uncovered (and probably cold) - so I laid by her and covered her up and she went right back to sleep.
Now it's 5:10... I sent Richie from the couch back to the bed and I'm eating another bowl of Life cereal... and feeling wide awake.
I guess it'll be another day for a nap when Laura goes down for hers. Good thing we have no plans this weekend other than an oil change for my van.
