I'm happy to say that Monday Laura went back to daycare and slid back into her normal routine like nothing had changed. It's like she didn't even miss the whole 3 weeks she was out! She ate really good there, slept awesome, and wasn't shy going back. Monday night at home she was happy, ate great dinner - and then slept through the night! wooo!
Tuesday - same kind of thing :) (including sleeping great overnight)
Wednesday - took a 3 hour nap at Lynnes - ate so-so - and then she was great for the evening... but this morning at 5:30 she fussed for a short bit. I didn't want to get her up that early and she settled back down until 6. At 6, she was calling for "maaaamaaaa" so I went to get her - her sheet was wet in two little places - she'd puked a little, but I didn't really think more of it. Grabbed her bottle and brought her to bed with us. She took about 3-4 ounces and laid still for 10 minutes - and that's when the trouble started... puked all over the bed... surprisinly missed me even though she was snuggled up in my neck. She acted happy enough though - so I gave her a bath and then gathered up the dirty laundry and tossed it in the wash. While I was doing that and she was with Richie - she puked on him. Richie left for work and Laura and I have been snuggling up on the recliner all day. She'd cycle between sleeping and puking... about every 20-40 minutes. I tried giving her a few sips of water at 9am and again at 10am and again at 11am...but they all came back up very quickly. I made myself some toast at 1pm and gave her a bit more water. The water actually stayed down. And then she was Crying for my toast - so I got her a popsicle. She ate a whole banana popsicle and I'm happy to say that it's now nearly 3 and I've seen no pukies in nearly 2 hours. She's passed out asleep now. Hasn't wanted me to set her down all day. She's still got tears when she fusses, but as of 1pm her diaper from 6:30am was still dry. I've got a ton more popsicles in waiting and we'll see how the rest of the day goes.
Lynne (at daycare) said to watch out...because it starts coming out the other end after the pukies pass. ...... hmmm...maybe daddy can stay home with her tomorrow! ;)
