Laura and I went to the fields yesterday just long enough to bring home 2 pounds of fresh berries. It wasn't easy picking with her there - it was hot and she was hungry (downed 5 ounces while I picked!) - it was crowded - and her stroller wasn't easy to go into the fields with. We made it work though and I got enough to enjoy the fresh taste of berries - definitely not enough to freeze any though.
(No berries for Laura unfortunately - they're on that No-No list for babies under age of 1 year)... bummer.

I picked two handfuls of strawberries from my own patch this weekend.
They tasted great!
Those strawberries look yummy! Looks like you got a new Maclaren stroller, which one did you wind up with? I switched to a nicer lightweight Ingelsina last summer and I'm so happy I did. Those suckers see a lot of use!
Too bad babies can't have berries!
