Laura decided that sleeping in her pack-n-play at daycare isn't such an aweful thing to do. Lynne said that Laura cried for about 5 minutes then passed out. She's done pretty well taking her naps in it since that day. Up until that point, she'd taken all of her daycare naps in the infant bouncer...that was only inches off the ground by this point!
Monday:
She waved "bye bye" to me when I left her at daycare. And then she didn't cry! She's cried when I've left her at daycare for about a month or so now, so that was nice :) Hasn't done the wave at the really appropriate time again since, but it's a start. Now we have to start working on clapping!
Tuesday:
I noticed she finally has a little round area on her left lower gum... a tooth trying to come through! I can see the tooth, but it hasn't come above the gum line yet so I still can't feel it... ugh...not looking forward to the first time it slices across me... (if you know what I mean!!!) ...and no, I don't think it'll stop our breastfeeding relationship yet.
Tonight:
She went down to sleep with minimal fussing. She nursed before bed, but not to sleep. Then wanted to play, but was rubbing her eyes. I topped her off with another ounce from a bottle and then laid her down. She fussed very little and is now sound asleep... like this...

See where her foot is? Can you say pins and needles!?!
