*She still wears medium fuzzibunz, but the medium bumgenius are popping off of her now.
*She wears a size 6-12 month robeez shoe. Not sure what that translates to in "real" shoe size...maybe a 3?
*She wears size 12 month clothes mostly now.
*She has thinned out a lot. Looking back on her pictures from a few months back she looked so chunky and rolly polly!
*She loves to play with Toby - grabbing fist fulls of hair. She screeches when she sees a kitty. Like she's saying kitty with the intonation in her voice.
*We learned this month that she's getting a new girl cousin :)
*She says "uh-uh-oh", ma ma, dada, and she make a two syllable sound at the appropriate time for "thank you" although it sounds nothing like thank you.
*She eats nearly everying we do. Loves cheese and blueberries and watermelon.
*She loves the game of "give and take". She gives you a toy/food/whatever and you say thank you. Then she holds her hand out for you to give it back to her. She says her two syllable "thank you" when she hands the thing to you.
*She loves to put things into things and take them out again. Putting her food in the little cup holder on her tray - then eating it. Putting her toys in her toy box - then taking them out. Emptying out her lunch pail at the end of the day.
*She is obsessed with the dishwasher. If the door is open and she sees it - she thinks she has to be right there.
*She drins well from a sippy cup now. She'll even pick it up and hold it herself. Her other "trick" is that she'll leave the cup on the floor and bend her face down to meet it and try to drink that way.
*She has figured out how to flush the toilet and how to turn the tv on/off.
*She has taken 6 steps unassisted. She takes a few independent steps each day, but mostly she likes to hold onto things and cruise that way. She is very fast at it.
*She stands independently a lot though. But the trick is - she has to be holding something in her hand to be confident that she can do it.
*If she drops what she is holding, she can easily lower herself down in a squat position and pick it up then stand back up without toppling over.
*She still only has those 2 bottom teeth. Nothing has popped through in the past month.
*Still nurses to sleep about half the nights of the week.
*She takes only about 6-8 ounces of milk at daycare each day. Some nights she'll take another couple ounces once we're home in the evening though.
*Her hair is getting long - whisps over her ears now and is quite long in the front too. I can't bring myself to cut it though - I'm afraid it'll look boyish if we cut it now!
*Wearing size 4 huggies overnights, but I bet she could fit in a 5. The 4's are a bit snug.
*She loves having a crib full of little animals. If/when she wakes up or is trying to fall asleep, she'll have one in each hand and suck on them or babble to them.
*She is starting to get stranger anxiety. In the grocery store she used to light up when strangers would approach and say how beautiful she is. Now she gives a quick smile, then buries her face into me and starts to whine and cry. She's doing it at daycare too when the other moms come to pick up/drop off.
*STILL napping in the infant bouncy seat at daycare. Ugh.
*Bedtime is around 7:30.

It seems just like yesterday that she was born.
She sounds so much like Lacey! Except for the standing on her own and taking steps! Laura is absolutely adorable! Where did you get those pink (magenta) pants?
