Last night at least we all got to sleep in our own beds!
7:30ish: asleep with her crib propped up.
8:15ish: she's awake. fussing. i let her put herself to sleep - it takes all of 3 minutes. I go check on her - she's head down. I leave her for a few minutes and let her really get asleep.
8:20ish: i go in and gently lift her and spin her so her head is uphill. she wakes up crying.
8:25ish: it's quiet. i go check her position. butt in the air, head down. (is she having flashbacks to her position in me just a year ago!?!) ... i go tell rich we have to unprop her crib. we manage to lift the crib and pull the text books out from under it without disturbing her. ... gee, and we wondered what those old text books would come in handy for some day... so far, proves to be - nothing!
9:00: I go to bed.
10:15pm: she's awake. i feed her and she goes right back to sleep.
12:30: awake to eat - i feed her for the next 45 minutes and stumble back to bed at 1:15am.
2:04am: awake crying. i wanted to let her cry it out i was so exhausted, but Rich popped up in bed and i told him he could go to her since i KNEW she wasn't hungry. maybe had a burp? he rocked for a few minutes with her and she passed back out.
3:00am: those stupid cats think it's breakfast time! i go downstairs to feed them and take a potty break on the way back to my slumber.
4:00am: laura is awake and wants to tank up on an early breakfast.
6:00am: she's up for the day.
Maybe tonight will be just 3?
Tonight I gave her a teething tablet before bed and she's been asleep for about an hour and a half... so far so good.
Oh, and I picked up one of those medibottles (but it's a different brand - reliadose or something like that) - same concept though.
She took to it right away - then realized what I was trying to pull off. She did get the full dose down her though and it was much less traumatic than the two person hold down we've been doing. We still both wore a lot, but I think a lot of what we wore was milk since it was mixed together.
Stubborn independent little woman she is! And we love her so much! :)
