A few more firsts...

First clap! Yay! Finally she got the clapping thing down. Last night she just did it all on her own. Of course, we clap often to show her this skill, but she finally did it! She's been clapping her hands with a toy in each one (or her favorite, a bottle cap in each one)...but now our girl can clap on her own :)

And the other first isn't as exciting... she has a fever. Can you believe she made it to 10+ months old without a fever? Then today I picked her up at Lynne's and they told me her head felt warm... well, sure enough - got her home after the 7 minute drive and her back was soaked with sweat - and it was certainly not a hot day out. I changed her and checked her temp ... 101.1 She has been acting fine all day though. Eating and going normally. I gave her a cool bottle of milk and then we played. Checked her temp a few hours later and it had gone up just a bit to 101.5 then I gave her a bath and rechecked it... 100.7 I decided to give her a dose of ibuprofen before bed just to combat in case it wants to go up in the night that should help.

...but boy is she whiney... Maybe teething?

Speaking of... she just woke up whining now... off to snuggle/feed her!

Wow, 10 months without a fever. That's great! Laura must have super good immunity! Hope it means less sick days in the future!
